We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled individuals to control one of a number of projects being run by the local council. Your main responsibility will be to provide ongoing support to your assigned project and make sure deadlines and targets are met. If you have previous project management experience and budget management skills then this position is perfect for you. It is based on long and short term contract and is offering a great rate of pay.
Main Duties
Produce and maintain project plan
Manage internal and external resources allocated to project
To identify project risks.
Establish and maintain understanding of project objectives
Ensure that participants understand their roles and project responsibility fully
To supervise work of other officers as required
Determine the approach and methodologies for project implementation
Personal Specification
Minimum of three years Project Manager Experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Advance knowledge of Prince 2 Management and MS Project.
Ability to hit targets and manage budgets is essential
Public sector experience desirable
